To mark Europe Day (9th May), the European Agency for Safety & Health (EU-OSHA) has announced details of a photographic competition with a prize fund of €7,000 available. The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers and is based around the theme of safety and health at work. The competition entitled, ‘What’s your image of safety and health at work?’ is part of the European Agency’s Healthy Workplaces campaign for 2009. The competition entitled, ‘What’s your image of safety and health at work?’ is open to all EU citizens and four winners will be selected from the entries. First prize is worth €3,000 with second prize receiving €2,000 and third prize worth €1,000. A further €1,000 prize will be available to the winner of a public online vote on the competition website
